Industry Advisory Board Meeting
June 1-2, 2006

The spring CRITO Consortium Industry Advisory Board meeting will be Thursday and Friday, June 1 - 2, 2006. At this meeting we will continue our focus on IT-enabled innovation.

On Thursday, we are delighted to have Dr. Ramesh Jain as our keynote speaker, presenting “Business Impact of Search Technology.” Dr. Jain's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Dr. Jain, Susan Feldman, Research Vice President, Content Technologies at IDC, and Dr. Sharad Mehrotra of the Bren School of ICS at UCI, whose research focuses on next generation database management systems.

Two other featured presentations on Thursday are by Professor Christine Beckman, who will examine the relationship between Organization Structure and IT (followed by a panel titled "Technology and Adhocracy: Reality or Fiction") and Professor David Obstfeld. Obstfeld will give a talk on "Mobilizing Action for Innovation." On Friday we will feature research presentations and project updates.
