Noriko Hara is Assistant Professor of Information Science
at Indiana University and a fellow of the Rob Kling Center for Social
Informatics. She held a position as an NSF postdoctoral research fellow
in the School of Information and Library Science, University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill, before joining the faculty of the School of
Library and Information Science, Indiana University in 2002. Her research
focuses on resource mobilization with information technologies including
communities of practice and collective action. Dr. Hara holds a Ph.D.
in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University.
