Roberta Lamb is Associate Professor of Information
Technology Management in the College of Business Administration at the
University of Hawaii, Manoa. For the past twelve years, she has been
researching online technology use, and is presently engaged in two streams
of related research: an ongoing study of intranets in commercial organizations,
and a study of collaborative networking among university and industry
scientists that also involves simulation of collaborating social actors.
She is a deputy editor for The Information Society, a special issue
editor for Information Technology and People, and Social Aspects theme
editor for the Journal of Digital Information. Dr. Lamb holds a Ph.D.
from the University of California, Irvine.
