Suzanne Weisband is Eller Fellow and Associate Professor in MIS at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona. She places a strong emphasis on the unintended, social and behavioral effects of information and communication technologies and the importance of organizational and social context for understanding these effects. Dr. Weisband’s current research interests are about large scale collaboration, where people in complex organizations work with multiple others to coordinate their work and solve problems. The implications for distributed work and leadership are investigated. Dr. Weisband holds a Ph.D. in Social and Decision Sciences and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
